The search for broken concrete is going well. I found several listings on Craigslist for broken concrete. I've been in touch with someone in Fullerton. If that doesn't pan out, I'll head to Garden Grove and Santa Ana. But the good news is the price: FREE. Hooray for us!
So, I picked up two loads yesterday (from a woman who used to live in this house in 1987!). I think I got about 40 pieces or so. She still has more but I can't get it until next week and she might be out by then. There are a few others listed on Craig's List. I will look into those but in the meantime if anyone else comes across any broken concrete, please add to the collection. I figure we need about 100 more pieces (maybe?).
